Setup will prompt the user to enter his name and the organization he's in (like us, GK) but not the serial number.

hey dude i make one but specify the detail what im going to make a winseven theme or a vista
this is agood project make sure that this os is updated and tweaked

Yes, we need shells..
Create a modified desk.cpl, themeui.dll, shell32.dll, msgina.dll, sysdm.cpl and other dlls and cpls that can be modified.
Actually i have all the modified shells, but created by the great members of deviantart. I dont want them in the second release, but ill might use them in this first release. Lets make our own.

Im planning to use some of those modified shells by deviantart, specially the netshell.dll, xpsp1res.dll, xpsp2res.dll for the icons in the system tray..
We need our own Windows GK Ultimate in the about box, cause ive lost my previously created one.

Ill post the guide that im using..

We'll use the Windows 7 gk theme, if you will create one..
Its also good if you will create a vista GK theme,..
But ill use the GK 7 Theme as the default theme..

Im confused if ill use nlite or the rvm integrator or the others.
But i'll use nLite for the mean time, cause thats the program used in the tutorial..

You can help creating or collecting nature wallpapers, fonts and themes, styler themes, and moral support..
Im busy creating our own bootskin and logon skin..

Ive already tested the first created ISO, but i have problem in booting normally because of the ntoskrnl(modified boot)..
It only boot in safe mode,..
After the setup, icons are all modified and the logon is already the windows 7 7057..

This is a big project. I think I can create a few default wallpapers for the OS.

ive also found this site a long ago i have problems with the shells in the i386 folder if it is a cabinet file or what
maybe its up to you to discover that

about the gk seven theme i have already one but idont know if it suite the taste of other members still
one suggestion about the shells as the filesize increase the more memory it will use so i will submit a modified sp3 shells with lite modifications

Guys, ive successfully created our own logon screen!!!
Ive created a lot so all of us must agree with what the logonscreen will be...
Here are they:

I edited the windows 7 logon in a resource editor called restorator.
I had a hard time editing the windows 7 ultimate text at the bottom, cause ive discovered, it uses alpha transparency which could not be edited in mspaint
Thats one of the thing i learned in adobe photoshop.
Alpha channels determines which part of the image will be visible when used in an application.
It serves as the stencil in the image...(Good thing ive discovered that,.thanks for the error that photoshop gave me.. hehehe)

So it's Windows GK Ultimate, not Windows XP GK Ultimate?

I think it would be better if you include all of them. Then include the log-on option so users can pick the log-on screen of their choice.

Ive tested this but the image will become 4bit or 8bit in colors, so no chance for this bootskin..

bitmap images cannot be loaded as a bootskin ithink the API's for image rendering are actaully started at logon

a bootskin is added so that the users will stare at the wonderful low quality iamge and wait for the core apis to lload up

Yes they cant be use as the bootskin, cause the bootskin you see is the bitmaps inside the ntoskrnl.exe(if you are a single core pc) or ntkrnlmp.exe(if multi-threaded processor).

These bitmaps cannot be seen in a resource editor, but with the use of booteditor(google it) you can edit them.
Images are converted to 4bit or 8bit because the drivers needed by the graphics card is loading at boot, as well as the other devices. So it cannot handle images with greater color depth.

Update:
Our bootskin will be like in the screenshot in the post but the difference is that the progress bar is black.
I think it is better cause it looks cooler.
The logon screen will be the aurora as the default and ill include the others in the folder in desktop called "Extras".
Default theme will be SevenVG Black with iconized taskbar.
I think im finished configuring the WPI.

The succeeding builds after the build 2 shows the same errors regarding the shell32, user32.dll and the sound driverpacks, which didnt happen in the build 1 and 2.. i have to figure out what actually the problem is...
Stupidly, i have deleted the ISO Image of Build 2, so im struggling to find the solution to that problem..

You can have your copy after this Windows GK has been Perfected.
